  • @damusician Here in the states 78's were still being pressed for the latin market up to the late 1960's i have quite a few...Jose Feliciano's first record was pressed on 78 in 1966 for the Ansonia record label located in New Jersey it's rare record to own being that's the only record he recorded on 78..

i heard in the other countries they were still pressing 78's up to the early 70's

  • @tubellarbells The title of the song is Hello Bluebird by Teresa Brewer released in 1952...

    on Coral records...

  • Sounds pretty damn good.

  • Found in the trash? Lucky you! It's a gem!

  • It's amazing that you found a Califone record player in the trash. Great song as well! :D

  • Great footage of a cool phono with wonderful song. Those iPod thingies are a gimic and will be in next year's yard sales, but phonos will outlast 'em all!! Long live slow-tech!!

  • Thanks for the info. I got a bit dizzy following the record label trying to find out what it was. I had never seen a CORAL 78 rpm.

    Great tune too !

  • one of the knobs are missing? its a califone,it looks like a 1400k or some thing, but its cool!

  • You found a working turntable in the trash?!?! You must have done something to it.

  • i wish i had that record!
