Joan Osbourne should have been given this tune too. Ben Harper is even under pitch intermittently through the whole tune.
Maybe his monitor wasn't working or balanced right for him.
The Funk Brothers of course are great on "Shotgun".... And Tom Scott always fabulous. I wish Joan would do Grapevine. I've heard she had a Motown CD but haven't had the time to invetigate...must do that soon.

I was really hoping to see Joan Osborne sing this one. Did you see that short piece with the Funk Brothers? What a loss switching to Ben Harper for this song. Joan had it pinned down in 5 seconds.
