You missed the point. Dawkins only writes what sells, if stories about the Easter Bunny made money he'd be the first one out with a book on it. In other words, he is not writing to inform. Rather, he only writes to entertain. Ask him, he'll tell you the same thing -

hmmm - greatest "hoe"??
I know Dawkins calls a spade a spade, but that's taking it too far!

Of course...I know it's about Santa Claus NOW, but I clicked on this video in hopes of finding the greatest HOE on Earth. xD
Nevertheless, it was funny. :)

Every theist would agree, “there never was, and there never will be a Santa Claus.” Why? Maybe because its a children's story. And only children belive in Santa. Oh yeah, and one other guy, publishing millionaire Richard Dawkins. Have you ever wondered what subject he would write about if people stop reading his atheist books? I attended one of his lectures; brilliant guy, but a bit of a narcissistic opportunist. There are much better "God does not exist" authors out there. Cool video.

Children believe in Santa because it's what their parents tell them is a fact. Any other religion works exactly the same.
As for "what would he write about" - he's already written several books about evolution and genes, his main subjects. His one book on religion was a rare treat!

@sjclemmy
Who are you?
Your spelling suggests that you are the son and not the father at all.
Pay attention in school and it won't be so obvious next time.

Thanks!
Next Christmas, it's Chapter 16.
"Mince Pies? What Mince Pies?"
It's about the Santanists' claim that science has not yet explained disappearing mince pies and sherry on Xmas eve- so it MUST be Santa Claus!
Using the analogy of a detective coming onto the scene of a theft, he carefully debunks the nonsense and presents extensive scientific studies into this phenomenon which shed new light on one of Christmas's greatest mysteries.
