Kurt spears a great boar-the third one in about 45 minutes. The old bruiser made the hunters work a little harder this time...

  • My buddies and I are doing a wild boar hund in Tennessee in October. Can't decide what weapon to use for our first outing. I'm leaning towards a spear though. Any words of wisdom?

  • @drjpdc1 The spear is good. Gotta have good dogs though. I prefer shooting them with high-powered rifles.

  • I think i saw ur picture at Gander Mountain today. i live near Houston

  • @TitWarlord Possible, but not likely. I live in Central Illinois-unless one of our friends down there put it up. Thanks!

  • You know, there is nothing quite like using man's best friend and primitive weapons on these porkers, I know theres always a tree hugger somewhere who will say nay. God Bless their little pointed heads! Nice job!

  • if you were yelling "sexual" you must be really fucked up...

  • @CSLFiero spear IS a projectile. Pain IS relevant! How much the animal suffers Has much to do with quality of meat. If the animal is in extreme stress, as found in situations like this you and get what are known as "dark cutters" in the meat. Basically bruised meat. Tastes hormonal and extra gamey, even in domestic bovine. Quick and relatively painless death cause little or no stress to the animal and no release of hormones or blood into the meat.

  • why dont you use a sticking knife and tip the pig by the back legs...its alot easier than stabing it in the back with a spear

  • amazing how many less dislike come from this as opposed to bow or rifle hunting. it seems how much pain is involved is irrelevant, it's all about whether or not you had to work for it. let me tell you, if you're willing to put a animal down with a projectile, you're probably willing to do it with a spear too.

  • In the highlands of Scotland... We use oor teeth! GAIDHLIG GU BRATH!

  • Excellent footage. Can I come on the next one?!?!? I'll bring the shorthair... don't worry, he's near 90lbs and he'll follow the others. :)

  • why the spear.. down in mississippi we get up close with a knife

  • Good job guys, generally looks like you have it all under control. Well trained dogs and clean kills.

  • @drjpdc1 a sword lol

  • @FuerzaSuprema760 your stupid thats an awesome kill andanyone doing their part and killing pigs to try help protect wildlife from the pig epidemic should be applauded cause pigs are biggest threat to wild life in north america right now we all need go kill some pigs as many and often as we can tryy save nature from the pigs

  • Is it wierd that I wouldn't want the pit bulls? I want that hog all to myself (with the other dogs destracting it of couse).
