Frame rate disappointment? The HD1010 records and outputs 60fps @ 1280x720. Its not the camera's issue.

Like I said, the lag could be the result of inferior processing on behalf of my PC, not the Xacti1010. Great camera!

If you don't want to spend more than about $600, yes. Personally, I'm a Sony fan, but didn't have $999 to spend on a better camera. The only thing that's disappointing is the frame rate of final output... however, the deficet could be occuring during the rendering process on my PC and not on the camera... nevertheless... I like my Sanyo Xacti, but I recommend going with their latest model.
