A brief tornado formed north of McCook, NE on this day. A gustnado follows. One of the guys I was chasing with thought we were looking at scud at first, hence the amusing dialogue.

  • Near the end of the video, is there a funnel cloud on the right side of the screen (behind gustnado)

  • @Bros1234321 - to me it looks like a piece of scud, but never noticed it before!

  • @Torn80cj Gonna have to agree with you. Twas there shooting from highway 83

  • that same storm went through Holyoke Co and was tornado warned

  • That "gustnado" is actually a tornado. The air was drier in this part of Nebraska, so the circulation was not having condensation in it for the majority of the tornado's life cycle.

  • What an Event to get on Video, I have been thru Mc Cook a number of Times on Amtrak, that is a perfect area for something like that to happen.

  • That looks more like some RFD toward the end. (@ChaserDustin)

  • nice things. Great video.
