Exactly, I am no longer the Freight Hoppers' guitarist. As I recall; my conversation with Mr Barry Nelson regarding the amended "Freight Hoppers UK" was pending approval by the rest of the band (chiefly the original members). My attempts to follow up the conversation with him went unanswered.
I resigned from the group in Sept of 2008, I am sorry to see that the matter remains unresolved at this time.

I can only assume by the content of your comment that you do not have a personal relationship with The Freighthoppers USA as Mr Thomas Bailey, their guitar player, personally asked me to change our band's name to The Freighthoppers UK. As to your other comments I can assure you that approx. 99.9% of the population of the UK has never heard of The Freighthoppers USA, let alone The Freighthoppers UK. But well done to you for spotting the difference.

Amending the name to read The Freight Hoppers UK isn't quite good enough in my book. Imagine a band calling itself The Beatles USA...what would YOU think? The Freight Hoppers have a well established band name, and if you were ignorant about that fact previously, you can't be now, and now you're taking unfair advantage of their good name and reputation. You should cease and desist, and really change your name before you get even more negative attention.

Why! Thank ya friend..... You're absolutely right. We are not The Freight Hoppers from North Carolina.... but from the UNITED KINGDOM. Name has now been amended to read The Freight Hoppers UK to stop any confusion... (thanks for the eloquent comment!)
