  • Why isn't the leading edge worker at 0:42 and at 0:52 using fall protection?

Why isn't there edge protection for both ropes at 2:46 (or just not yet)?

  • @Trad1893 Fall protection at those spots is a good idea, but not absolutely necessary. You can't see the whole building layout in the video. As far as edge protection for that third rope, it was just a stubby line for a bucket.

  • @memattherem So it would be okay for the bucket to plummet to the ground?!

  • @MannyAWilliams Your ignorance on this stuff is cute.

  • sketchy rigging dude!

  • @danbnz27 Nope. Our rigging is solid. Some of those ropes are just tied off waiting to be pulled up. You shouldn't make assumptions.

  • @memattherem Tied off hand rails?! NOT even CLOSE to being solid.

  • @memattherem If it a good idea, should have done it. Sorry man, Not safe.

  • @memattherem What standard or regulation do you refer to when you say window cleaners don't need helmets? OSHA and The International Window Cleaners Association have safety requirements for working at height and they do require the use of ANZI z89.1 compliant helmets.

  • @memattherem Opt to use them more!? How about all the time. Let's make safety first.

  • oh yeah.. i can kinda see it. Our job isn't for pussies is it???? I've never been able to say a truly love my job before I started doing drops. I see you guys are still on ladder racks. I've worked with both. Ladder racks are easy but canisters last a LOT longer. Be safe, brother.

  • @flowtrax Helmets aren't required for window cleaners. Though since I put this video up, over 2 years ago, we are opting to use helmets more.

  • @HEATH66H Theres definitely no violation there. There is another roof on both sides of that roof he is walking alone. You just can't see it in the video.

  • I don't know if I'd post 3:36. OSHA might be watching.

  • No helmets??

  • dude who do you work for i want that job.
