"Hi, Handyman Don with your 60 second do-it-yourself tip today: how to paint interior door and window trim in 60 seconds or less. Step one: put out your drop cloth. Step two: grab your necessary tools. This project's really easy, only got four tools: One: a 2 ½ inch angled paint brush, a small putty knife, my favorite blue painter's tape, and a small container for the paint. Alright, before you get started, make sure you're wearing something comfortable and you don't mind getting paint on. Yeah, when when you tape, go ahead and put a piece of tape right up next to the piece of trim so you get a nice even edge. Press it down, and that's what I use this plastic putty knife: to save my finger nails I press really hard, run it down the entire edge of that tape so I'll get a nice, straight paint line. Alright, now that we're all taped off, put a little paint in our holder, we've got our brush, now I'll show you some good technique to paint. Alright, when we go to put the paint brush in, I only want you to get about a third of the paint brush wet with paint, no more than that, OK. And dab a little bit off. And then we use nice, steady, light even strokes. That's all there is to it, let's get to work. ♫♫♫ OK, we're all done painting. Now, I'm going to show you one last tip and that's how to remove the tape. When you grab the tape, pull it back at a 45 degree angle and flat to the surface so you get a nice sharp edge."
