@navabzadi : Because cinema while generally being a work of fiction does reflect standard norms & trends in society. Wherever there are anti-social savage violent animals like these goons depicted in this movie, you can be rest assured that atleast 95% of the times, the perp turns out to be a fucking muslim. It really is a sad state of affairs that liberals both in India & in the west have shut their brains to the obvious & end up supporting the very serpent that lives to destroy civilization!

The only saving grace in the movie is Tulip Joshi... but she got a less screen time. The movie reminded me of my hostel days but nobody went to such extremes to prove a point. Evil can bring good to its side but evil can stop with the voice of reasoning!!

I don't understand why current set of filmmakers who take up strong issues show that the only solution to the problem is kill/violence. Even Range De Basanti went down that route. I believe that the filmmakers have a greater responsibility in our society to tune the minds of it's audience to greater heights if you learn to use your head in tougher situations. Not everyone is bad and not everyone is helpless... this includes the management of institutes.

the guys like Kuran did nice thing but really sad to know that he lost every thing. so, this are things that happen in hostel. many such things will always happen again. if i have to advice kuran to go off that hostel instead making every one saint. or he had option to kick the ass out of that place and find some job some where.. instead of staying there he must have flew with his girl friend :-) any all the best youth :)
