"Angry and Disappointed" at Chairman Stewart

Filmed on April 1st, 2007 at the Prince William County Board of County Supervisors meeting. The main focus of the agenda for the afternoon session was Chief Deane's progress report on the implementation of the Immigration Resolution. But the most anticipated aspect of the meeting was the face-to-face between Police Chief Charlie Deane and Chairman Corey Stewart, after Stewart and his allies in the blogosphere had attacked Deane and even called for his resignation:

@westchesterny You see, when you are really smart and work EXTRA hard, there are these things called "scholarships" that students can apply for. My brother and I got such "scholarships." I am sorry to see that although you are responding to comments I made 2 years ago, you lacked the foresight to read them. If you are referring to the gangsters, look upon our entire culture and the hip hop generation. As far as I can tell, Mexicans have no more pride in their country than other groups in theirs. Look at the Irish, the French, the Koreans. Pride in your origins does not mean disloyalty. As to sending billions to other countries, how is that bad? Helping family members in need is now seen as a crime?
