As to Centralized Government, when Europeans had weak Government and weak defenses, others were quick to capture and enslave them. Once Europeans kicked the invaders out, they decided the best way to not BE enslaved was TO enslave. Perhaps this is the real reason Australians were disarmed Too old to care about it but will never vote again-just informal the lot . @EPGAH2 stop trying to credit Europe with things that are not your achievements. Centralized governments weren't brought to Africa. They always had it at a time when Northern Europe only consisted of warring Germanic tribes killing each other.

There's a big push now to give Sudanese kids Internet access--That's right, people who are starving now want subsidized Internet access.

As to luxury vs. dirt poverty, that's what O-bum is trying to create in America, and Australia is going through the same process. In most "white" countries, wealth is a tit more evenly distributed!
