The police appeared to have lost his cool. I have watched a lot of reality police show on TV outside Malaysia, when they are on duty, they should be able to endure all the swearing by the suspects. Only if they get physical then its the police right to seize him. Prolonging a bickering for the world to see is a definite no-no.
