2005 Chevrolet Equinox Start Up & Rev

Starting up and giving a quick rev of this High Milage 2005 Chevrolet Equinox.

These have a 3.4L Ohv V6. Really old school motor but GM did at least have the decency of pairing it to a 5 Speed Auto. With So, they're not all too bad. Well, the interiors in these are terrible and scream cheapo!!!!! 152k and it did sound good though.

it does have good gas mileage and descent acceleration tho.

@zachattack19961 I've driven them too. Not gonna say it's a rocket but it was tolerate, the MPG's weren't too shabby either :P

@Jakeman2164 I've driven a few. Ride, utility, comfort, & it's 5 speed auto are great. And yes I will admit the stereo even in the base model is quite good :P My issue with these was just the antiquated engine, the terrible steering response, & the interior quality. GM had the right idea but failed to properly execute many key areas.

i own an 05 eqinox ls and it has 70000 miles on it. ive replaced a drive shaft bearing, and a plastic piece on the base of the seatbelt, the paint is wearing off of the buttons on the center console, the key gets jammed and stuck in the ignition ALOT, the auto start is messed up, the engine burns alot of oil, the power stearing is making a weird noise, and the tranny's a bit slow when switching from park 2 drive. and ive treated this car well the whole time ive owned it. P.O.S.

Not only the Impala, The Malibu Maxx which is almost like an equinox in a car/wagon form, and a few others. The 5 Speed Aisin used is way better than those P.O.S. 4 Speed GM developed in the Mid 90's thats always had mediocre reliability. But these are 1 of the clumsy decisions of the old GM.
