John's work has inspired me to become more active in my community and work towards a sustainable future. I first saw John mentioned in Acres magazine .Not being a academic kind of guy , I find his work easy to understand . The challenge is to bring his message to the kind of people like construction workers ,truck drivers ,poor people and my family!
It's very exciting to see this next era of human existence. I personally can't wait to see the innovation and improvements on quality of life this criss will usher in.
Let's all hope we can agree that change is good and move forward. To me the most important message was that we should be treating people as we would like to be treated. Including future generations.
That was great! Professor Ikerd speak more truth and value that America is ready to hear. But we better listen, because time is running out.
And after we listen, and hear, and understand, we better engage ourselves in our communities to shape a sustainable future; for ourselves, for our neighbors and for our children.
