Loved the book. I found it to be very reassuring that no matter what you do, there will never be a magical 'anything' that will 'cure' the depression. It will always be 'there' but it's you that is in control, not it.
the way she describes life with highs or lows is so poetic in the book, like when she talks about the seduction of suicide and moments like that, its perfect. because when youre on a low, ending life is a sweet seduction, it trys to drag you in with it.
I found it odd that she goes by manic depression rather than its new name bi polar. Anyway, was an excellent book, I couldn't put it down. Parts of it I can relate to. An extremely hard journey to cope with, Terri you're amazing. Thanks for sharing :o)
Enjoyed her books....especially the second, Dark side of innocence. Sure opened my eyes. Thanks.
