Chinese growth is "getting to a higher level," according to Virginie Maisonneuve from Schroders. In the first quarter of 2010, she predicts China's GDP growth "could be higher than 10%." However, there is a risk of bubbles in the market and of labor shortages, she added.

  • i just recently visited china, i think mostly low income people r affected by recent economic crisis, but from what i've seen, the mainstream is still on-goin for spending, restaurants and malls are flooded by people, not just window-shopping, but they're who really buying things, remarkable..

    LOL, a perfect term for those crowd. They just can't accept the fact that China can grow that much. They only look at one side of mainly one field, China's export markets.

    I like it when these "economic analysts" gets proven wrong.
