The line "I am a Jedi, like my father before me." makes the ENTIRE MOVIE my favorite star wars film. It is just a AMAZING line. And I'm a prequel generation kid. It gives me chills and teary eyes just writing this comment waiting for the video to load

I've alway considered this the climax of the 6 episodes. It would seem that Luke ceased to be an apprentice and became a true Jedi Knight at that moment. Most consider the unmasking of vader as the climax but I always saw this as clousre. Luke became a Jedi and fullfilled the thousand year prophesy of bringing balance to the force. Yet, I wonder if Anikin's prohecy was true also. He did, after all, defeat the emperor.

Luke is such an underrated charecter. In a way he is the perfect hero. He is overshadowed by Anakin now cause of the prequals. Luke went through the growth of loss and still came up strong. He never knew his mother and he thought his dad was dead until he was 22 then found out Vader was his dad. Lost his aunt and uncle who raised him and watched his teacher get murdered in front of him and still stayed strong. Anakin lost his mom turns evil and was a weak spoiled brat before.

how come the sith was never mentioned in the old series

@Moredread25 podracing was pretty cool, and Anikin could have been a well written character. Lots of trouble, and trial leading him to be what he is now, and making his Heel Face Turn much more meaningful. Pademe sucked.

I love Palpatine's expression, he's just like -_- "what?"

He was totally going to kill Vader before Palpatine reminded him about the dark side

@Moredread25 That's too true, far too true.

Luke is such a pussy :C
I wish the prequels had more of this and fewer scenes with Jar Jar, Pademe and Anikin, or pod racing, or giant battles between two groups of totally replaceable beings whom we care nothing for.
