A Flythrough of the New £20 million Halls of Residence development, Treforest which will provide 476 brand-new purpose built en-suite student residences to replace our existing halls at Neuadd Philip Evans and Neuadd Philip Squire.

The scheme will create five, four storey accommodation blocks, and includes 120 premium rooms and 20 micro-flats. All rooms will feature en-suite and shared kitchen facilities.

As well as the provision of new student accommodation this new development will also benefit from the inclusion of a central single story communal block and an external amphitheatre area to provide high quality internal and external amenity space for students and visitors. The accommodation has been designed to be sympathetic to the local environment and to be fully secure with 24 hr CCTV coverage and on-site security.

Approximately 120 rooms will be completed ready for occupation in February 2011 and the remainder will be available by September 2011.
