An even simpler theme; reprise

I had to trim the video back to 10 minutes because of the YouTube upload limit. If you want to see or download the whole original video of 14 minutes with a better audio quality, see or download the video in the video section of my website.
This is basically the same setup as for the video 'An even simpler theme' added on november the 1st but the music is more subtle. But somehow I can not reach the subtleness of the great masters in Electronic Music (e.g. Redshift, Free System Projekt or von Haulshoven). Still I hope you enjoy this. The Kawai 100F is responsible for the Ring Modulated background noise. Three different sequences, an 8 step sequence on the Synthesizers.com, a 12 and later 16 step sequence from a MFM VCO through the CGS Steiner filter only using the Band Pass input and a 1 and later 4 step sequence from a MFM VCO through an Ian Fritz 5Pulser through an Oakley Equinoxe Phaser. Again just 3 minor chords (Cm, Bbm and Fm) with chord memory on the AKAI AX80 and an improvised solo on the Nord Lead 1; a truly 2 finger system.

You should get a copy of Sony Acid Music Studio - It is $70.00 and does multi-track and offers built in multi digital effects, stretching of time independent of pitch. It is all I use.

Thank you for the tip. But I use Pro Tools LE for recording multi-track audio to my satisfaction. But I don't want to post-proces the recorded clips because if I do, I don't consider it 'Life' anymore.

nice theme.. liked it a lot :) nice synths, i wish i had the means to fool around with things like that, oh well, maybe later, im still young, but very nice theme, hey, have you thought on buying a recording interface with more channs? you could fix volumes later...

Thank you. I don't have the equipment to record multitrack with video. In my opinion that also would not be a live recording. I recorded this theme properly to a song named 'My Home Town' which you can download from my website.

Can I suggest that you fade down some of the sequenced parts so that it's easier to make out the lead synth/melody. You could always bring them back to full volume later. My ears struggled to stick with it. But your work is really coming along nicely. Really enjoyed this one. Looking forward to seeing more soon. Thnx :)

Thank you for the suggestion. But it is really hard to get the levels in balance in these spontanous recordings. I usually do it in one or two takes. In the last video I thought that the solo was to loud. And also the uploaded and converted YouTube video has a different sound and balance than the original video.

nice, ill go check your site right now.. and yes, i agree that it could be considered as a not live recording, but on the other hand, if you just fool arround with volumes.. its still live.. imo.. but i dunno :) peace.
