  • Such a shame someone wrote a song inspired by a fictional account of a man's life found in a movie and not the man, his work, or his life itself.

Heard an interview with him on Q where he admitted he was never much of a Joy Division fan and wrote this on a jog the morning after watchin the Corbijn film. Rather insulting to Joy Division / Ian Curtis fans.

  • @shellycrash

Well... honestly I don't like joy division, but I can appreciate their contributions. Are you sure it's insulting to get inspiration from Anton's movie?

  • where's he from?

  • zak, he's from canada.. you should know this

  • I lov you people! everyone's complaing but there's only one dislike!

  • This is a WEAK imitation of the real thing. And the lyrics are HORRIBLE.

An embarrassment to Canadians, to Joy Division fans, and especially to

    Canadian Joy Division fans.

Save us from yourself and your crappy songs...you aren't the one to save

the soul of this man and this band...o owohwoh

  • Are we speaking of the same Ian Curtis? Joy Division, Warsaw, Stiff Kittens? This song is a shame to his and the other members existence! How frickin weak. Even the drums are wrong! I'll withhold on the electric bass. That aint no Ricky! This IS horrible!

  • Good song but the music tends to remind me more towards the first New Order album "Movement" than Joy Division. Just sayin...

  • Sorry but as a huge Ian Curtis fan I don't enjoy this,

good enough melody and such but I despise the lyrics
