Look, i admire that you would spend that much time into one pokemon, but really, you actually had the patience to do that for 2 months! I can barely do it for 10 minutes! Anyway, i got over that, and got a Shiny Mew and Arceus because of that.

I admire your persistence - 2 months is a large portion of one's life. And I feel sorry for you with Synch not working - chance is evil. In Platinum, I don't want a shiny Dialga, just one with good nature and very good IVs.

congrats :) i wish i wasn't so far in my diamond... i have tons of poke radar shinies and i don't want to start over. shiny dialga would be so cool to SR for. i got shiny treecko and mudkip on my sapphire by SRing. i'm trying to get shiny charmander on leaf green now.

just run around until you encounter it and reset if it's not Shiny?

This was the Lati@s you catch on the Southern Island, via the EON Ticket, so I was able to SR as I would with any other Pokémon you can see on the overworld.
If you were to SR for the roaming Lati@s, then I think you would have to save before checking the TV program about their sighting, in your house after the E4. Then you would run around until you find it, and reset if it doesn't Shine.
I've never tried doing that though ;o

Haha, I know.. I Procrastinated a little xP
My next target was Giratina in Platinum, but by ridiculous luck, I already got it. On the same day as my Random Shiny Starly in Diamond, and my SR Latios in Sapphire, no less. Three Shinies in one day.. that won't happen again *__*
I don't have a video of the Latios, but I made one of my Giratina encounter, which I will put up soon =)
