The ABC25 News Blooper Reel: Winter 1998 (Part 2 of 4)

Here's part two of our station's first ever blooper reel. Lots more of the goofy stuff that you enjoyed in the first installment, plus a dash of the crew goofing around, just for good measure.

Backstory: From 1997-2000 I worked for WJXX ABC-25 in Jacksonville, FL (back in the days when it was a REAL television station). It was a great gig, and one of the things I got to be a part of was compiling and editing the blooper reels for company parties and other occasions.

Now, those of you who know these tapes backwards and forwards, please note: I am editing them down a little for public consumption. Many of these people are still in the business and I'm still on good terms with them. I'd like to keep it that way. As a result, things are restructured a bit, and your favorites might not be where you remember them. Plus, some stuff was just too "inside" for mass audiences.

I would like to give WJXX ABC 25 the "funniest" news station of all time in Jacksonville. The station was truly funny and best known for its bloopers until it was sold to Gannett and merged with WTLV NBC 12 to become "First Coast News."
