Eddy recorded this song in May 1947. That session also produced "I'll hold you in my Heart" and "To My Sorrow" both of which were released that year.
For some reason "bouquet" was kept in the can for a year, placing it on the flip side of the later recorded "Texarkana Baby" in May 1948.
Also "Any Time" recorded later was also released sooner.
I wonder if they knew what they had in their hands with "Bouquet of Roses".

This is my father Little Roy Wiggins playing the steel guitar for Eddy Arnold. It is one of their most famous songs together. It is not Gene Autry!
