Timelapse movie of mealworms (and a pupa) in a dish of rice. This was captured with the ProScope HR hand-held camera microscope using the 1-10x lens and mounted on a stand. This was captured over about 10 minutes time.

  • Hmm idk ive heard you can leave beatles, pupa and superworms together.

  • so fast. make it slower

  • @7777dmith7777 oh okay, thank you, :)

  • @flipknockphilippines Well..the worms and the pupae are both larvae but I just meant keeping the pupae, worms, beetles separate from each other because of thier cannabalistic nature, sorry for any confusion.

  • @7777dmith7777 the larvae from the worms? aren't they the same?

  • haha that fucking worm is a 100% shit disturber!

  • Good video, It shows what happens when you don't take the larvae out of the colony the worms will eat them or damage them making them turn into deformed beetles, missing legs, antennae, eyes, wings etc. So if you are raising them you will greatly increase your yeild by seperating the worms from the larvae, and the larvae from the beetles.
