  • The church is the instrument by which God communicates his doctrine/teaching. Scripture itself was written by members of the church. By the way, for 300 years, there was no Bible. It is through the body of Christ, that the truths of Christ are declared. You can't make up your own interpretations. If you read a Bible verse and come up with something that no one else ever has, than be really concerned. If you decide that Jesus was only God or only man. You fight against the scripture/church

  • @TheKenny4292 Actually, Christ is the final authority. The church isn't a building it is the body of Christ. The assembly of saints. The church is all those who are among the elect, predestined before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Why do you go to the worship/Mass/Divine Service? Because you are not to forsake the gathering together of believers. In the New Testament gathering wasn't even a question.

sorry...this will be continued on the next post.

  • Actually the first thing that Jesus says in this verse is GO and make disciples. This is not collecting a bunch of unbelievers in a place and calling it church. This type of "sermon" is not needed if the congregation understands the meaning of and signifigance in baptism. Where is the shepherd? Oh yeah, he doesn't visit the sick or share meals with the flock and deeper to him is one's tithing record. It's nice to know that "good Christian boys" make this hireling sick, as he so put it.

  • @ihawkes80 And so are you.

  • @thelastlonesurvivor , I agree. Complete truth. You can test this up against Scripture. If a man-made document doesn't match up against Scripture, the man made document needs to go, not the Word of God.

  • Complete truth

  • But, it WAS private for first Century believers.

  • The only thing I'll say about this guy that is valid is that he is an excellent public speaker. However, so was Hitler. This man is equally as dangerous.

  • Complete and utter bull shit! On all levels.

  • @TheKenny4292 i never said u dont believe in Jesus, I said "if".... the verse is Mt. 17:18.

Jesus - Church - bible are not separable
