Canon HV20. I shot the scene from 5 different angles. The actors read the whole scene in each angle. The sound was recorded with a shotgun microphone on a boom plugged into an audio mixer which fed the audio inputs on the camera (the camera mics were not used). I edited the scene in Final Cut Pro.
Just curious ... I had another question. Do you film the 'entire' scene from each single camera angle? Then move onto the next? Or does each person say their lines individually? I've heard its best that the scene plays out, but when I shot scenes like this, character 1 would say first line, pause, (as if character 2 would say theirs) then character 1 wound say line two/pause, then say line 3. But character 2 would never say anything until 1's lines were done and we turned the cam around.
@sonne5 I filmed the whole thing from each angle. You can use the dialogue from one angle or the other to fix mistakes from the other angles. (Does this make sense) Also a..you need the whole scene shot at different angles to use for L-Cuts.
hey i watched it and i liked it
but i have a question what camera are you using?
looks like it has good voice recorder because when you cut the scene the volume of the video still stays
can you write me and explain that?
