@BluSkyHorizon im not sure...ive love this pedal..its raw without being trashy sounding...and its clean but not too processed sounding...better than the tube screamer imo...but hey ive been playin 22 yrs...and im pretty sure id be lying if i said my ears were perfect...lol

@BluSkyHorizon Cause nobody uses it correctly… It drives me crazy. I play a strat with it and love it. I've never heard anybody use it where I liked it except Jon Schneck of Relient K

@Danthehorse Considering Robin uses this pedal as well as a fulldrive2 I'd say it would pretty much nail his tone ;)

@fitipaldi90 I agree that the OCD is a great boost pedal. I run an ac30 right at the break up point and use the OCD (as a boost) to push the amp. Sounds great!

the visual sounds pedals just don't sound as organic to me

The pedal is not for metal, it can push ur amp distortion to add more gain to it so u can get metal tones then, normally u should back all the drive down on the pedal and crank ur distrortion in ur amp, so u can get better metal tones....this is not like a boss metal zone.......if u want just blues go to ur clean channel and turn on the pedal with the amount of gain u need.
