The Worrior Music Saga 10 - Yor's World (Commodore 64 Arrangement)

Yep, Another Commodore 64 arrangement. This time it's of an awesomely cool b-movie: Yor, Hunter From the Future.

I love Yor. I admire what the movie is and what is it? cheezy, cheap, stupid and unintensionally funny. It's another of those 'so-bad-it's-good' movies like Twilight or The Room.

Among all the reasons that makes this film cool, probably the biggest thing of all is the rediculously epic theme tune, titled 'Yor's World', Performed by the band, Oliver Onions. If you havent listened to it yet, Damn you! find it on YT and listen to it. I garrantee you'll get at least SOME enjoyment out of it if you have any feelings for the 80's.

So anyway, I feel that making an arrangement is very appropiate, because the Commodore 64 was a home computer in the 80's. Nothing could be more fitting. As for the song it's self, I think I did a pretty good joob. I tried to stay as close to the original as possible and the result: meeeh... not AS good as the original, but a C64 arrangement is almost never as good as the original unless the composer for said C64 game decides to do something completeley different which is mostly the case for alot of the games in the C64 library. But, or course, there was never a Yor game (there SHOULD be =S).

I know alot of you out there currently watching my videos are not really fond of commodore chip tunes and, to be honest thats fine with me. I just like making them, as It keeps me down-to-earth with it's tricky-to-work-around limitations and besides, I love the sound of the commodore. The robustness, the arpeggiators... I'm repeating myself now. Come to Yor own conclusions if you like it.

P.S. FIND AND WATCH YOR. YOU MUST OR YOR WILL COME THROUGH YOUR WINDOW ON A DEAD BAT THAT HAS BEEN PARALYSED. DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUGE I'M TALKING ABOUT? WELL, YOU'D BETTER WATCH THE FILM THEN AND FIND OUT!

okay, okay, just kiddin, quite like this one, it has interesting transactions in it and I like how it isnt the same kindof series of notes repeated, but in general pretty good :)
