My 1972 Honda Z600 that I am in the process of putting an engine out of an 06 cbr 1000rr. The stock 36 HP engine just doesn't have enough pep for me. Hopefully I'll have it going in a few months.

  • I searched and wondered if anyone has attempted this swap, this is the only glimmer of hope I've yet to see.....I'd be very intererested in knowing how it worked out.

  • @2stroketurbo I did get it done enough so I could drive it and It is way faster than stock. I took a break from it for a while, but I hope to get it done by next year. It looks like the engine is way forward, but everything still bolts on the front.

  • That is so cool!. Thank you for your response. I've got a Honda 600 Sedan that is engine-less, although I have the stock diff. I'm trying to figure out how you connected the bike sprocket and chain to a diff. I would think the driven sprocket would have to be HUGE due to a heavy car body. Getting it all to fit and work is my hang up. I would love to see how you did your yours. Any chance I could see a picture of the your diff set up? Mark

  • I just used the stock sprockets from the bike, but since the wheels are so small compared to the bikes it works really good. I did use the stock diff out of the car and it took alot of time getting it to work. I do have pics of the diff and of it all bolted on the cradle out of the car. Whats your E-mail so I can send them to you?
