Sabayon 5.1.....so much,so little..

Here we have a go with sabayon 5.1,and what a bugger it is,it runs real nice until you try the media centre and then hey it all falls down,to be honest this one really made me depressed and want to cut my wrists,after the super large d/l of 1700 mb i was expecting more,but all i got was less,i know gentoo is not the easiest of the linux stable but come on guys,at least let us know that things are not going to work.

Its not the CPU that makes Sabyon run slow for you. It was first made to run on the original XBox witch as fare as I can remember have a quite crappy CPU. What XBMC however dose need is 3D Acceleration from a properly installed Graphics card.

I was looking forward to trying out Sabayon, for a long time, but I got comfortable on Linux Mint under XFCE and Puppy Linux under XFCE.

One advice is that you make the volume on the recording a bit higher. I have to wear headphones to hear, 50% of my laptop's volume. XD

i tried version 4 maybe and didn't find package manger there so i delete it and install mandriva instead

XBMC works a treat on sabayon on my system with a basic 2600XP Athlon and 1.5gb ram with 256MB Nvidia... You need to setup your system properly...
