The war on whistleblowers in the US continues. The Obama administration is going after yet another whistleblower. John Kiriakou, a former official for the CIA, was indicted on Thursday for leaking information out to the press. Kiriakou is no stranger to whistleblowing and was responsible for leaking the torture technique of waterboarding by the CIA on terror suspects. Jesselyn Radack from the Government Accountability Project joins us for more on the latest indictment and gives us her take on how the war on whistleblowers is turning into the war on journalists.

indeed..my father once said to me.."i would be the richest in the family had i not help them to stand on their on feet, but now i've seen money(riches) only divide us, i would rather spent every last of my money for my children(you and your siblings) for education, such will improve your own future".. i actually think my father is better than universities combine..still my dad sent me to a university..haha..XD

"but there are worse things than that" it would seem to me that you haven't concluded

    Well said.. =)

Life is most honest in the jungle. If we can't learn a lesson the right way, or build our castle on a solid foundation, the only thing left to do is tear it down.

We have only the freedom to prove to ourselves that sacrifice is more powerful than greed, if we can't then we will always be enslaved to it.

Unfortunately greed is now the keystone of our society, and we worship it as success.. to pull it out now would cause a collapse, but there are worse things than that.

I wouldn't hold out too much hope for someone rich and powerful to bend down to help out the commoners either... they wouldn't be rich and powerful if they cared about how they made their money! These people have a dynastic, supremacist mentality and would rather die with 10 billion in their account at the age of 90 than give it away!

That's why they don't retire after $100 million, they're sociopaths like the kings of old...

true..i think what you mean would be perfect democracy..and i think it is ridiculous too..in most cases, minority would left out..

in my opinion however..revolution takes time and sometimes the outcome is unpredictable..if it doesn't affect us, we rarely would take drastic action..even if we are in the situation, something might be holding us back..

in short, someone with power, money and influence can make a difference..to do good things and i hope not the other way around..

We have the tools to understand logic and morality, it's just a pity we never use them...

The double standards have become so bad that it's considered 'extremist' to actually HAVE a belief or value... meanwhile it's the bizarre, vague, intangible, surreal 'conservative' morals that pay the most respect!

Like 'freedom' and 'democracy'... these things mean absolutely nothing when scrutinized.

The freedom to torture? What KIND of democracy?? No one even knows what they mean any more..
