SourDough Theatre consists of nine members. Each one has called at least two very different towns their own throughout their lives. Their new devised piece explores the connections such towns hold with themselves and others.
Drawing on the many disciplines and interests the company share, SourDough Theatre blend memory with place, fact with imagination; Hometowns taps into something both personal and universal.
SourDough Theatre is an emerging collaborative company based in Exeter, who work organically with both new and old media to devise performance with storytelling at its heart. They use visual devices such as shadow puppetry, masks, candlelight and torch light to generate their language for performance.
Hometowns is being performed at the Exeter Fringe; Bike Shed Theatre-
