The Ebbw Vale Forum (www.ebbwvale.org) are proud to present a short excerpt of the rail journey from Ebbw Vale to Aberbeeg. The video clip has been taken from the DVD entitled "The forgotten railway" and was produced by Jeremy Richards and Glyn Walters.
The DVD tells the story of the Ebbw Vale railway line, and, using extensive footage taken from Jeremy's personal collection we find out the reasons for the decline of the line and the campaign to reopen the tracks.
This DVD is one of many that has been filmed and / or produced by local historian Glyn Walters showing Ebbw Vale past and present.

We need more railways like this reopene across the UK. The Government talks Green Transport however this is just a lie as they don't seem enthusiastic about reopening lines.
