Lane Brody in Taxi

When Michael Zinberg, TV director (whose credits from The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Bob Newhart and recently, Lost, Monk, Quantum Leap etc. ) first became aware of Lane's talent, had her quest star on Taxi and wanted her to become a regular and the same for The Yellow Rose Tv Series. Lane didn't want to do that, being she was already a top model in Chicago/LA and didn't want the rigors of being in the acting field, so he did want her to do the Theme for The Yellow Rose, which she did and chose Johnny Lee for the duet. From that, it became a hit record that achieved number one in Billboard and most played song award from BMI.
