Walter Block demonstrates how the minimum wage creates a barrier for entry into the workforce by doing his valiant leap over his attache case. This has become a yearly tradition for Block at Mises University conferences.

Taken at Mises University 2009.

  • Yeah I can see that. He has a very eccentric sense of humor.

I've heard him say it in an audio file from the Mises Institute's website on the minimum wage. Now i can picture him doing that in the middle of a lecture while listening to it, lol.
