nice way of telling this dude. but i have another problem my n900 slider is little hard to open. when open my slider it sound like old wooden door is opening, and its sound like ccchhhiiinnnn. would you like to help me

wooow I'm impressed that you removed the rebben cable then back again and the monitor is working fine
My experience with other devices is that they will never be the same once the rebben is disconnected ... weired lines , unworking parts of the screen ...etc :-/
