  • hey my problem isnt as bad as urs but about a month ago i dropped my laptop it had the charger in it and the charger broke the plastic above and now when i put the charger in it pushes the port towards the centre, and its hard to get the charger in normally, is there a way to fix that, or do i have to just live with it? i can post a video if that helps or u dont get what i mean :) just anything to fix it lol. thanks.

  • @LOLAG3S - do a 30 sec video response on it, maybe you can hot glue or crazy glue the broken plastic piece.

  • nice, I had the same problem before on a customers laptop, only the jack was shot and needed to be replaced and soldered on.

  • Thanks for this vid! I fixed my loose jack by prying up the ground contacts the way you described and it charges perfectly now!
