Here are a few snippets from the Love is in the Air documentary, presented by the ABC. Hopefully, all who view will be encouraged to buy, so the producers will be happy to see this. Included is a short clip from the 68 farewell show, which seems to be from a different source. The last is of Judith commenting on Helen Reddys I am Woman. The full documentary version, of which this production is a distillation, apparently contains more material. (Well see how this one goes).

  • I may be criticized for this but I believe Judith is as charming and as lovely as she was those many years ago............Thanks for the wonderful songs and all memories ...

  • The Carnival Will Never Be Over as long as the Durham voice and the Seekers songs are burned gloriously in my memory. God bless Judith and the Boys.

  • Judith was 1000 times more gorgeous back then than I could ever dream of being, but it appears, even she has succumb to the rigors of time. If she looks like this now, it scares me to think of how I will look when I get as old as her!

  • Beautiful voice and a lovely lady. The Seekers were a brilliant group but there was a lot lot more left in them. Judith left the group far too soon.

  • @InteriorCommando Pardon and I don't mean no offense but I still couldn't get her out of my mind, and I mean that young girl singing Georgie Girl in the 60's, actaully I saw her pictures in the early 70's and had a crush on her though I was just maybe 9 years old.

  • The bass player looks like a cross between Graham Kerr and Clark Kent....WILD!!!

  • @InteriorCommando I agree.

  • @InteriorCommando I'll never criticize you for that observation. She's aged beautifully, yes, but like a fine wine, she's gotten even better. Ms. Durham, you've achieved something rare, a loyal following over 40 years later. We love you and continue to enjoy the gift of beautiful music that you have given us. Thank you.

  • Yep, as beautiful and charming in this video as when she was young. A 10 in every way.

  • @JBofBrisbane I agree. Now that's popular. About as popular as the Beatles, wouldn't you say?

  • @Seattlecarnut - here's a definition for you - 200,000+ people come to see you at the Myer Music Bowl. In Australia in 1968, you didn't get any more popular than that.

  • Define "Pop Star". I've thought Pop was short for Popular. A Popular Star.
