the best thing muslims can do2improve the image of islam is
1. stop doing violent things round the globe, that can get you a bad image
2. loudly criticise the radicals
3. get your leaders to issue fatwas repudiating jihad terrorism and violence that aims at forwarding the agenda of supremacist islam.
4. march and raise your voice to loudly reject and condemn any incursion of discriminatory sharia laws into your countries legal system.
and most important of all, affirm the right 2free speech

Prosecuting a group of people based on their ancient, well-rooted beliefs isn't "in" anymore. It's the 21st century-- where's the presence of mind to realize that there must be at least some Truth or message of Love within the Qur'an if it has been enthusiastically followed and worshipped for thousands of years. After 9/11 and the huge scorn from the media on Islam, I had to talk to real Muslims to get the facts straight. I soon realized how interesting and genuinely peaceful the message is.
