A video of a test performed on the UDB4 autopilot running MatrixPilot r1118. The test is intended to help diagnose a problem with throttle control in waypoint mode.

Here is the written procedure written by Bill Premerlani on 12/1/2011

1. Disconnect your propeller.

2. With your UDB4 programmed with the options that you sent to me (copy attached), without changing anything on your Tx or ESC,
Power up in manual mode with GPS and OpenLog, etc., connected, .

3. Verify that the LEDs go through their nomal power up sequence:
GREEN LED on, RED led flashing,
ONE wag,
GREEN LED on, RED off,
Double wag

4. In manual mode, run your throttle up to full and then back down, as fast or as slow as you like.
Observe the LEDs: Green should be on, RED should be off.

5. Switch to waypoint mode.
Verify that green LED is on and RED is flashing.

6. Slowly (about 10 seconds) run your throttle up to full, and then back down.
Verify that green LED stays on.

7. Wait for 10 seconds to flush the OpenLog buffers.

8. Power down.

9. Process the .txt log file, and send us the .csv file.
