Inspired By... The King is the theme of which Frank Anthony successfully works on stage, national & international. He's known as one of the best Dutch sound- & look-a-likes. Frank got on Dutch national television on many occasions: Ivo Niehe T.V. Show, Catherine - RTL 4, Ushi & van Dijk - SBS6. Also to be seen in 3 different T.V. commercials for the Holland Casino - Netherlands. Worldwide Frank Anthony is the only one performing LIVE the mega-hit "A Little Less Conversation" with JXL. In consequence of the 25th anniversary of The King's death, on August 16 - 2002, Frank Anthony did a special performance during one of Europe's biggest pop & culture festivals, LOWLANDS
In 2003 Frank Anthony appeared for the second time at LOWLANDS festival as a start of new theatre tour.
A Tribute To The King In Concert!
Frank Anthony worked on A Tribute To The King Tour 2003 - 2004. It brought the audience back to Elvis' highlights in the early 70's, Las Vegas Style. Several of these mucisians are Metropole Orchestra members, every member of this orchestra worked with some of the Greatest Artists. Dutch national artists: Laura Fygi, Marco Borsato, René Froger, André Hazes and also Lee Towers. International they worked with: Sting, Celine Dion, Elvis Costello, Harry Connick jr. and Toots Tielemans
The Stage outfits that Frank Anthony is wearing are copies of Elvis original stage wear like the '68 leather comeback special suit, "The Fringe", "The Chain" and "The Concho" as seen in the Elvis documentary "That's The Way It Is" (1970). Also using several casual Elvis outfits. The Greatest Songs of The King Of Rock 'n Roll like C.C.
