That is true about repentance but from my experience, a change of heart & mind ALWAYS lead to a change of behavior, although a change of behavior doesn't necessarily shows a change of heart & mind. Hence, the repentance always lead to fruits/results or what you call works. Works are necessary not as they save us but they are the proof of our salvation.

@LeMagdalin "And this is his commandment, That we should BELIEVE on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." (I John 3:23).
Fellowship and being saved are two different things. I John 1:6 is saying that if you say your born again and living for God yet you are in sin, you a liar and you're not right with God. It doesn't mean you're not saved. Your good works won't save you.

@Figsx 1 John 2: 3-4 "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him".(KJV)
1John1:6
"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth".(KJV)
Clearly, walking in darkness and not keeping to His commandments, while at the same time saying we know Him are the marks of an unbeliever or a false Christian.

@Figsx While repentance is not a work that earns salvation, repentance unto salvation does result in works. It is impossible to truly and fully change your mind without that causing a change in action.
The "evidence of things not seen" in Heb.11:1(KJV), is the "fruit of the spirit" caused by a heart supernaturally changed by God.
Someone who continues to live their old sinful life without the "evidence" of a changed heart after confessing Christ - is not saved, only deceived.
Read 2Cor5:17

Amen. I was debating this earlier today and someone else brought up that silly idea about how Satan and the Demons BELIEVE in God.
Of course they do! LOL! They have SEEN God! LOL!
Anyway, I repented one time. Changed from non belief to belief! :-)

@Infidelrf Who told you that? James 2:19 says the devils believe in one God. That's completely different than trusting in Jesus Christ as their Saviour. You can believe in God and go to hell. The devils know there is a God, but they don't trust in Jesus Christ. Repent doesn't mean to turn from sin. God repented more than anyone in the Bible. Repent is to change what you believe.
What must I do to be saved?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Act 16:30-31

@LeMagdalin "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40

1Sam15:29 says ".......the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent". Without an understanding of historical language and context, the passages mentioned in video would be self-refuting.
The meaning of the word "repent" has changed over time, as most modern scholars agree, using the words "regret" or "grieve" in most of the English translations instead of "repent". GOD is GOD of all things past, present, and future and does not change HIS mind.

Even satan and his demons BELEIVE in JESUS and tremble, Bro. This, though, is not enough to save them. Repentence is NOT the same as WORKS! Repentence is PROOF of belief/faith in God through Jesus Christ. If you do not turn away from your sin as evidenced in your life(fruit of the spirit), then you are NOT saved, only deceived, because when JESUS changes your heart, repentence is the natural response. LUKE 13:5 says ....but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
Not everyone who said Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, But who DO the will of My Father!!!
If some one is doing the will of God the heavenly Father, he is repenting, becouse naturaly we are all sinners: we DO'NT do the will of God. If someones mind chances and turn his back to sin (repent) then he starts to Do the will of the Father in heaven.
I hope you repenting daily in your life pretty faced youngman. If you're not, than you're not a Christian. Because that is the proof...

@Figsx To think that someone can be saved by simply changing their mind, as if it is an act of the INTELLECT, is a modern day perversion of the gospel known as EASY BELIEVISM.
It is a "new-age" re-interpretation which was never preached historically by Godly men.
Salvation and regeneration are SUPERNATURAL acts of the Most High God, which results in a changed life, as a spiritual response to the prompting of God's Holy Spirit.
If the Holy Spirit indwells anyone they WILL be changed, period.
