Another demo of my parts Strat with Rocketfire Total 60's Pickups. Two Rock Custom Reverb Artist. TruTone 2x10" pine cab with Jensen Neo speakers. Lava Blue Demon Cables.

Zendrive, Wampler Ego Compressor, GGG Bluesbreaker clone, Keeley Katana and Klon Centaur. I believe it was in that order. I rolled the volume on my strat down a little for the intro of Human Nature. The Klon is on during that and for the rest of the clip.

My recording setup BLOWS! The tones are much better in person. I've got the gear covered...just need to get myself a proper recording rig. Thanks for listening!

  • Were you using the ego compressor at any point during recording

  • @tele100 Yep. From 0:36-1:20.

  • Thanks! If you watch the video from the memorial, I'm pretty sure you can see a small board with the Klon on it. You will also notice that he starts with his volume rolled down and then turns it up after the intro. I was messing around with the Klon set about...Volume 11:00, Tone 11:00 and Gain about 3 o'clock. With the volume rolled back for the intro, its sounds as close as I'll ever get to nailing that exact tone. I'm pretty sure that is what he used that day. Thanks!

  • Man this is great, so smooth! how did you record that? mic(s), soundboard, etc... thanks so much :)

  • What pedal would you recommend in driving a Two Rock Studio Pro 35, would the zen drive be the best thing for that?

  • @BluesKidDude

It's hard to compare them to others. I think they have their own thing going on. I find them VERY balanced. No frequency is overtaken by another. They stay true to the sound of your amp. Some of the best speakers I have ever played!

  • Wow that Klon and the volume rolled down really nail that Human Nature tone!! How did you set the klon? Keep it up!
