I discovered Mike Gravel tonight. I've been too disgusted by the media and the leading Democrats to have paid much attention to all of it. Tonight is the first I've heard of Mike and I'm extremely impressed. Thanks to youtube. I'll be supporting Mike.

How could he not become president? Too many sheep exist in the U.S. Every young person I ask is voting for obama or clinton, and most older ones are going for clinton or edwards. They don't even know the name "Mike Gravel". And the one's I have met that DO know who he is and his involvement in ending the draft, don't care about it much. It's so disappointing.

PS: Although I'm a Ron Paul supporter, I think Mike Gravel is an important addition to the national debate, and the man deserves some backing from the Democrats interested in an HONEST debate. The man is important because he is calling out the "frontrunners" on a lot of their own hypocrisies! Please look past party politics and recognize that you're being lied to...much the same way the Republicans are being lied to by everyone BUT Ron Paul.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter and the guy below me has some good suggested research there. The Money Masters is a good film. But also check out "Fiat Empire" (available on Google Video) and "The Capitalist Conspiracy" (also available on Google Video).
