@johson35rotor Yes that is a 73 Speedway and they were a very advanced sled for their time . My father raced for the factory Kohler team back in the day and we had a fleet of them .

oh wow my 81 jag with a hole in its pipe would smoke these sled (LITERALY) for the loud contest..they should have a wheelie contest cause my jag weehlies for MILES!

The Merc Sno twister.. with red dot pistons , was completey the dominant sled in the day...in Mod and Stck classes.

Nice video ! Why is it that I,m not surprised that the Rotax motor did not want to start.
I've owned many makes and models only the Rotaxs were a pain .

@rollo451 ya, I love that sled. It was flooded, then the re-coil broke :(

Cool stuff, how do they get parts ? Are the parts still made ? Look's like a really "FUN" Hobby !

@justanotherengine the sport is a blast! There are a few companies online that are selling new old stock, some that are making new parts again. But for majority of the parts, you have to find them and it normally isn't easy. But if you just want to piece one together you can easily do that.
