Audix F15 Matched Pair Overview (Acoustic Guitar)

Some examples of sounds you can get from the Audix F15 overhead microphones. These microphones are available for $99 each, but they used to be part of the Fusion 6 and 7 packs.

I figured I would make a video and see what I could do with these mics on an Acoustic. I'm enjoying working with matched pairs at the moment lol.

Hopefully this video will be helpful to you in your quest for your next Microphone (or next batch of Microphones).

@radekxito It's hard to say... They did pretty well for overheads on drums... I'm sure there are better mics out there because they are usually $100 each... I will be testing them out in mid-july recording an acoustic performance to see how well they pick up in true stereo... I'm sure there are better mics out there for $200

y is the sound only coming through the left speaker?

@romodrummerjz Hmmmm.... I'm hearing it from both speakers... in the split pattern the left speaker is louder because it is on the sound hole....

@CowcarMusic ur voice is coming in the left too in the intro.. ya thats true the split is better if i push my left monitor cone in on the XY pattern on the right side its faint but its going more towards the left... and do more Recording vlogs i like those

@romodrummerjz I listened to it with headphones... It's coming through both, however, whichever mic is pointed towards the sound hole is definitely louder.
