This is a traditional cowboy bedroll. I have sewn in brass snap hooks, D-rings, and cotton ties so that it folds around a 42" X 7' sleeping area where a covered pad is tied into place. The complete bedroll also comes with two 80" latigo straps with a handle. This bedroll is just right for chuck wagon camping and historical rendezvous. When rolled up it makes for a photogenic camp chair. With the pad and leather it weighs 26 lbs. Your Grandpa would be proud of this bedroll, it will probably bring back some of his fondest camping memories.

  • Don't copy us the AUSSIES

  • What kind of a cowboy packs a bed roll the size of a King size comforter rolled up?

  • Well, the description does say it's a replica of a cowboy bedroll, so one would assume it would be carried by chuck wagon or horse.

  • Definitely not made for bushcrafting that's for sure. Way too big and bulky to be carrying on your shoulder for long hikes.

  • I've been looking for a sleeping bag like that. Who made it and where did you find it?

  • Too long? This guy knows what he's doing. Read the first line...

'This is a traditional cowboy bedroll." This is an updated replication of what was used on the trail. And yes, it was usually hauled in a wagon.

  • Excellent bedroll ! I inherited a bedroll similar to this one from my who Dad had it for at least 40 years. Stolen while I was overseas, it's probably still going strong, now at least 60 years after purchase.

  • It's too big and no point in lugging that around. All you need is a 6x4' canvas tarp and a fleece blanket with two pieces of rope. That guys has too much lugruy. God bless Texas!!!!

  • listen to this yank,, bet hes never been south of the mason-dixon or west of the Mississippi...

  • That is definatelly too much work
