Highlights from a sermon "Christ's Call" by KP Yohannan. The full video can be found at http://www.gfa.org/christs-call KP will challenge you to really lay down your lives and follow Christ. This means having a priority of reaching the nations with the Gospel. The major things Christians in the West and prosperous nations can do is pray, fast, and give toward missions ministry. We have such affluent and comfortable lives, that we forget 2.7 billion people have still not heard of Jesus. What extra money can you offer to buy Bibles, buy radio Gospel time, support a missionary, buy a missionary a bike, or buy a projector to show a film of Jesus? What will you do to finish the Great Commission? Let God guide you.

Missionaries have traditionally destroyed cultures,
destroyed languages, sexually abused, enslaved,
murdered, destroyed families, introduced diseases,
imposed foreign rules and laws and dress codes,
stolen valuable heirlooms and cultural symbols,
and sent home self-congratulatory reports
of the "souls saved" and "victories for Jesus."

All those things have been done at one time or another by those under the label 'missionary', but where they really Christians? Some no, some yes, but with ignorance or problems of their own. It is easy to take individual examples of the horrible stories you have heard and think that is all missionary work is about. I challenge you to really look into it and see if it is true. I guarantee you, non of that is happening with Gospel for Asia, except the last part in an understanding manner.
