Minor boo boo goes medieval on my leg

A cautionary tale about not taking extra special care of a wound. I did take GOOD care of it, just not 100% and man did i pay. I came in contact with strep or staph (yup that flesh eating yuck) bacteria one of the few times i left it unbandaged, or even transferred it while caring for it, I simple scrape became a HUGE source of pain, yuckiness, and potential danger of infection in my recent knee replacement, which, BTW, infection of which rarely leads to amputation! Everyone in favor of hourly baths in purell, raise your hand. *raises hand* lol
